Military Character Props

Generic Military props, not much to say about these 'name on the tin and all that ...'
Although Applying the surface effects like fabric can be a bit hit and miss in Zbrush both methods of mapping either UV or object producing areas of weird coverage on occasions. But still a damn sight quicker and accurate then trying to paint them on by hand with an alpha map.

Motorstorm Urban Militia

Another revamp for a Motorstorm Apocalypse NPC, not sure if these guys actually made it into the final game, but what the hell it's a fun character to do.

My green padded jacket coming in very useful for reference material, although haven't started the fiddly detailing which that will require yet ... maybe tomorrow ( or the day after lol )

Final Zbrush sculpt, much prefare 'Y' pose to 'T' pose.

Motorstorm revamps

A few characters from 'Motorstorm Apocolypse' in need of an overhaul with Maya blocking out and rough Zbrush sculpting nearly completed.

'Art is never really finished' and sometimes its good to go back and try out new skills and techniques on old projects.

Private Military Contractor - WIP

Final male PMC head sculpt, a few odd tweaks still to sculpt but basically complete now.

WIP for this PMC but liking the results so far.

One almost down (nearly) and four more to go. I'm still old fashioned and like to mock up my characters in Maya first, then I can see if the in game mesh will work or not in game before going onto the long process of sculpting in Zbrush.

Female main character WIP.

M706 Armoured vehicle

Something a little different (again) M706 armoured vehicle. Started building this just to have something to sit a couple of characters on the top and the project kinda 'grew'. More work on the texture required still.

Deathguard Nurgle Marine WIP

You gotta love 40K because there's a lifetimes worth of very cool character concepts to build. I like to take my meshes past the 'plastic' figure feel and expand upon the limitations of the moulding process which gives Gameswork shop figures that bulky-non realistic look. I think there's common ground between the two opposing styles, neither one nor the other.

High detail work pretty much completed so now for some 'sickly' looking materials/textures!

First pass on the textures but still much more work to do.

40K Ork Shooter

This took far too long to finish due to multiple software crashes, Low Ram errors! I have 20 Gigs of the stuff! But overall a fun piece to build (might come in useful one day?!?)

And a Big Chopper (which now brings a silly grin to my face lol )
